Fanilow

COULD IT BE MAGIC? To the delight of classic-pop aficionados, upper-demo women, the once-Bar Mitzvah'd and other fans, iHeartMedia has announced the launch of a Barry Manilow Station on iHeartRadio, to coincide with the 10/27 release of Manilow’s new My Dream Duets. The star's "dream duet" partners on the album include Judy Garland, Whitney Houston and John Denver; the station will be a mix of songs from his hit-packed catalog and personal favorites from other artists. "Barry Manilow is a national treasure and we are honored to have the opportunity to launch this special channel for our listeners,” said iHeartRadio prexy Darren Davis, pictured here with the legendary singer/songwriter. Davis subsequently busted out a heartbreaking rendition of "Mandy." (10/28p)
