Top 10 tracks

TOP 10 TRACKS: The album was king—well, one album anyway—during the week ending Sunday, 11/2, and that made for an extremely atypical singles leaderboard. Only four tracks were north of 100k, and there were four new entries, led by—who else?—Taylor Swift, with her second official single from 1989, while “Style” was the album cut glommed up by the most spendthrift Tay fans. The other two bows are new singles from Cash Money/Republic’s Nicki Minaj and friends and KidinaKorner/Interscope’s Imagine Dragons. Columbia phenom Hozier dropped by 20% after hitting #2 a week earlier but stayed in seven digits and looks like he could be on an extended stay in the Top 10. Ditto for Capitol’s Sam Smith, whose “I’m not the Only One” slipped one spot to #11 behind a 6% dip, but he’ll be right back, we guar-on-TEE it.

1. Taylor Swift, “Blank Space” – 155k
2. Meghan Trainor, “All About That Bass” – 133k
3. Maroon 5, “Animals” – 110k
4. Hozier, “Take Me to Church” – 105k
5. Tove Lo, “Habits (Stay High)” – 79k
6. Nicki Minaj f/Drake & Chris Brown, “Only” – 76k
7. Imagine Dragons, “I Bet My Life” – 74k
8. Taylor Swift, “Style” – 178k
9. Jason Derulo, “Trumpets” – 72k
10. Jessie J + Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj, “Bang Bang” – 71k

Taylor also has the next six debuts, including “Wildest Dreams” and “Bad Blood” in the Top 20. It’s downright surreal to see mega-smash “Shake It Off” sell just 62k at #120, one slot above her “Welcome to New York,” which was #5 last week as an instant-grat offering. Will order be restored next week? We have no freakin’ idea. (11/7p)
