Ashlyne Huff
(http://www.myspace.com/ashlynehuff): As the first artist signed to the Anderson Companies’ new innovative music marketing and recording company, Liquid Digital Media, Huff is an engaging new voice in pop music. Her self-titled debut album, hitting April 27, was produced by busbee, who has worked with the likes of Timbaland, Katy Perry and the Backstreet Boys. Ashlyne will be joining one of 2009’s breakout bands, Honor Society, on their “Here Comes Trouble” tour this spring. A number of adjectives come to mind when describing this young songstress—an L.A. native who’s signed to Ryan Leslie’s Next Selection label—including ‘inspirational,” “gifted” and “survivor.” These are just some of the qualities that enable her thrive to in this competitive business. What’s truly remarkable about Krys is that she fought a year-long battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but she’s now completely cancer-free and determined to make an impact in the industry.
