Topping the list is Republic Nashville’s ACM New Artist of the Year The Band Perry, whose self-titled debut has already marked them as a band to watch. The group, composed of Kimberly Perry and her two brothers Reid and Neil, is currently scoring with two singles, “If I Die Young” and “You Lie,” from their self-titled debut. “You Lie,” currently Top 10 at Country, is now crossing to Top 40 and Hot Adult. “If I Die” is now over 2 million in track sales. Tour dates with Tim McGraw start later this week, with a Today Show appearance slated for Wednesday night (4/28). For more info, go here.
Hollywood Records’ Vermont-based Grace Potter & the Nocturnals are climbing the Hot Adult charts with the Top 25 “Paris (Ooh La La),” a song they first performed on VH1’s Divas show from their self-titled third album which peaked at #5 on iTunes and #2 on the iTunes Rock Albums chart. There’s a full-length concert airing on PBS’ Live from the Artist’s Den all this week as the band prepares to its headlining Bonnaroo Buzz Tour starting next month. For a complete entry, click here.
