Dive (www.myspace.com/dive): No strangers to the music scene of South Jersey and Philadelphia, this band plays a straightforward brand of aggressive and melodic rock that compares to the sounds of Three Days Grace, Hoobastank and Fuel. We mentioned Dive last year, and we're delighted to announce that the band has signed a record deal with Phase One/MadRock/Sony Red and will be releasing their debut album, produced by Jim Wirt, on May 11. Their single “Last Call Romance” is already being played on WMMR in Philly, a supporter since day one. The trtack is also available as a ring and ringback tone on Verizon. Upcoming shows include their record release perf on May 11 at Mexicali Live in NJ and the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden with Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Three Days Grace, Fuel and Skillet on May 23.
Megaphone (www.myspace.com/megaphone): Rockers from Orlando, FL, whose mission has been simple: saving rock & roll from the machine and bringing it back to where it should be. The group recently released three songs on the Rock Band Network for Rock Band 2 on the Xbox 360, and they continue to work on more material. They’ll be playing the Florida Music Festival tonight at 10:30 at BackBooth in downtown Orlando. Keep these guys on your radar.
