The Glee phenomenon continues into the summer.

Columbia’s hit soundtrack, Glee: The Music, Vol. 3: Showstoppers, lands back at #1 for a second consecutive week, with another 62k in sales, edging out Atlantic veteran rockers Stone Temple Pilots’ first new album in nine years by less than 1,000 copies.

Capitol Nashville/EMI’s Lady Antebellum, the year’s best-selling album, now at 2.2 million, is at #4, with LaFace/JLG’s resilient Usher rounding out the Top 5 approaching the 800k mark.

Interscope’s Lady Gaga (#12-8, +12%) is at #6, followed by Nonesuch’s Black Keys in its second week at #7, Hear Music’s Carole King & James Taylor at #8, UMe’s Exile on Main St. reissue at #9 and Universal Republic’s Nas & Damian Marley at #10.

Dik Hayd/EMI’s Slash album returns to the chart at #45.

Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood is the week’s top gainer, moving #35-22, +37%, no doubt a result of her American Idol performance.

Hitting stores today is Brushfire’s new Jack Johnson album, To the Sea, which will easily debut at #1, and keep tuned as to how high it can go. Also at retail is Island/IDJMG’s chart-topping Taio Cruz, Wind-up’s Hawthorne Heights and Decca’s Clay Aiken, among others.
