EMINEM’S THE ONE ON YEAR-END LIST

Eminem, who leads the Grammy field with a total of 10 nominations, is also on top of year-end sales as his Shady/Aftermath/Interscope album, Recovery, tops the list with 3.4 million.

That was enough to turn back Capitol Nashville/EMI’s Lady Antebellum, whose Need You Now garnered nods in the Album, Song and Record of the Year categories, notched 3.1 million, good for second place.

Big Machine country-pop reigning crossover princess Taylor Swift landed at #3 with Speak Now, #1 heading into the new year, scoring a total of 2.9 million during 2010, and on its way to more. She also had the #17 album in Fearless, with 888k in sales.

Island/IDJ teenpop phenom Justin Bieber also had two in the Top 20, including My World 2.0 (2.3m) at #4 and My World (979k) at #15.

Columbia’s Susan Boyle was another dual entry, with The Gift (1.9m) at #5 and I Dreamed a Dream (859k) at #19.

Interscope dance diva Lady Gaga landed at #6 with Fame (1.6m), one of three entries from Jimmy Iovine’s label in the Top 20, along with Black Eyed Peas’ E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) (1.13m) at #11.

Epic chanteuse-led band Sade landed at #7 with their comeback, Soldier of Love (1.3m), followed by Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown hip-hop star Drake’s Thank Me Later (1.27m) at #8, LaFace/JLG R&B mainstay Usher’s Raymond v Raymond (1.18m) at #9 and Kemosabe/RCA/RMG newcomer Ke$ha (1.14m) rounding out the Top 10.

Atlantic Country Best New Artist Grammy winners Zac Brown Band’s Foundation (1.01m) landed at #12, just ahead of Columbia 10-year-old phenom Jackie Evancho’s O Holy Night (1m) at #13, Capitol/EMI’s Katy Perry (996k) at #14, Columbia’s Glee Cast Christmas album (916k) at #16, Roc-A-Fella/IDJ’s Kanye West (882k) at #18 and Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown female rap newcomer Nicki Minaj (852k) at #20.

In all, Lucian and Doug’s UMG had five of the Top 10 and 10 of the Top 20; Rob Stringer’s Sony had four of the Top 10 and seven of the Top 20 (including Barry Weiss' RCA/Jive entries Usher and Ke$ha); Roger Faxon’s EMI had one in the Top 10 and two in the Top 20; while Lyor Cohen’s Warner Music Group placed just Zac Brown Band in the Top 20.
