One new Vibe-Rater entry appears, and another returns in this week’s HITS ranking of the hottest new and developing acts in the music business.

Noah & the Whale are a London-based alt-folk-rock group, whose debut U.S. release on Mercury is already wowing them at Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Spin, USA Today and more. The new album, Last Night on Earth, arrived on these shores March 15, with a S&SW appearance and further stateside dates beginning May 24 through June 18.
