ALDRICH BUZZES OVER TO RCA A&R
The Buzz is now at RCA Music Group.
Jeff Aldrich has been named Senior Vice President for A&R at RCA Music Group.
Aldrich will report directly to RCA/Jive Label Group Chairman/CEO Barry Weiss and will be based in the company’s
Aldrich previously served as SVP A&R for Warner Bros. Records for the past eight years, working with Seal, Disturbed and Faith Hill. Among the talent he’s credited with discovering and nurturing are The Veronicas. He also managed the A&R of film soundtracks for The Departed, Transformers and The Devil Wears Prada, among others.
Before that, he held the position of Senior VP A&R for Giant Records for ten years, working with such artists as Disturbed, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Big Head Todd & the Monsters,
Aldrich also worked for Chrysalis Records for 13 years, serving both as head of A&R and EVP, signing and cultivating such legendary acts as Pat Benatar, Billy Idol, The Divinyls and Slaughter, with additional responsibility overseeing A&R for Rock and Roill Hall of Fame group Blondie.
