VIBE-RATERS: ONE ESKIMO, ALPHA REV JOIN HITS PARADE
Two Hot New Acts Enter Chart This Week
London-based rockers One eskimO and Texas-born singer/songwriter Casey McPherson’s Alpha Rev are the latest entries on the HITS Vibe-Raters chart this week.

One eskimO’s “Kandi,” from their self-titled Shangri La Music debut, has been building since the album’s April release, garnering adds and airplay at Triple A and Hot Adult radio. VH1 and mtU are both active, with a Coachella date scheduled April 18. The band just concluded dates with Tori Amos and is currently on the road with Gomez. Look for an Ellen appearance March 17, and a Biggest Loser placement on NBC. See the complete Vibe entry here.

The title track from Alpha Rev’s Hollywood Records bow, New Morning, is quickly gaining admirers at Triple A, with early adopters including KBCO, WRLT, WRNR, KGSR, KRLX, KMTT, KSCF and WTTS, among others. Recently named to VH1's “You Oughta Know,” the band's Mark Pellington-directed video is drawing raves, while reaping nice exposure with ESPN promos and two songs on ABC Family’s Greek. The album hits retail April 27. For more info, click here.
