THE TEMPER TRAP, MORNINGWOOD POP UP ON VIBE RADAR

Two Developing Bands Break Out the Buzz With Fast Starts
The latest act from Daniel Glass' hit factory and a highly touted band returning for their sophomore effort highlight this week's new entries on HITS' Vibe-Rater countdown of the industry's most rapidly developing success stories.

Glassnote Aussie rockers' The Temper Trap saw its track, "Sweet Disposition," from the upcoming album Conditions (hitting retail 10/13), included in the hit indie film (500) Days of Summer, and it's now making moves at PoMo radio, where it was added this week at WWCD. The band's U.S. tour begins 10/14 in L.A., with European dates to follow. For the full Vibe entry, click here.

N.Y. buzz band Morningwood's "Best of Me" is the theme for VH1's Daisy of Love show and has just been added to the channel's You Oughta Know campaign. The group's Diamonds & Studs album, which is being distributed by Fontana, comes out 10/27, with national tours opening for Papa Roach and Jet slated in November and a Jimmy Kimmel appearance day of release.
