Longtime publicity guru Angelica Cob-Baehler is one of those good ones, and she now gets a well-deserved promotion at EMI Music to SVP Publicity and Creative Services for North America.
Based in the Tower in L.A., she'll report to recently appointed EVP/Head of Marketing Howard Handler.
Cob-Baehler now oversees publicity and creative services efforts for artists on EMI Music’s rosters in the U.S. and Canada, including Angel, Astralwerks, Blue Note, Capitol, Capitol Latin (EMI’s joint venture with Televisa), Capitol Nashville, Manhattan and Virgin. She will have responsibility for all publicity campaigns and work in collaboration with artists and their management on creative imaging and direction for EMI artists.
“We are really fortunate to have Angelica leading the charge on publicity and creative services,” said Handler. “She has terrific relationships, experience and a great sensibility that have been so effective in helping our artists break through and build on their careers.”
