SONY BMG'S COMMERCIAL MUSIC GROUP GETS A PAIR OF EVPS

Ingrassia Taps Danny Wynn and Stacey Bain for Top Posts With the New Entity
John Ingrassia, President of Sony BMG's recently formed Commercial Music Group, has announced two key appointments, naming Danny Wynn to the position of Executive Vice President, and Stacey Bain to the post of Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations.

Said Ingrassia of the appoitments: "Both Danny and Stacey have a proven track record of success, and I'm delighted to announce that they're in place to help me lead the Group. Danny combines a real passion for music with consummate skill as a businessman and negotiator, and Stacey—who is equally passionate about music—brings to the table extensive experience and considerable acumen in the areas of Finance and Operations. With these two talented executives in place, the Group is in a great position to create and implement long-term strategies that will capitalize on our strengths in catalog recordings and classical music, and create new opportunities in the areas of licensing, strategic marketing and television."

Commented Wynn: "I am incredibly excited by the challenges and opportunities presented by the newly formed Commercial Music Group. I am also extremely pleased, both personally and professionally, to have John Ingrassia leading the Group. Moreover, I look forward to working with and learning from the various talented Sony BMG executives who are already operating the business units within the Commercial Music Group. I can’t wait to direct my first commercial."

Added Bain: "I'm thrilled to be able to play a role in the development of the Commercial Music Group. We have a great team, and we're in the perfect position to capitalize on the many successes of our constituent divisions and labels as we build a strong future for the Group. I'm looking forward to becoming the Bain of John’s existence."

Bain, a longtime BMG exec, previously served as SVP Finance and Operations for Sony BMG, while Wynn, who joined what was then CBS records in 1983, was most recently SVP Business and Legal Affairs.
