VIRGIN'S FLOM PROVES
EMINENTLY QUOTABLE
To commemorate the imminent and quite incredible top 100 debuts of our two new superstar artists Dem Franchize Boyz and KT Tunstall, we are proud to announce the "Virgin Records Debut Commemorational Top 100 Debut Artists Out of Context Departmental Quotation Competition" (or VRDCT0DAOOCDQC for short).
Here's how it works: Tomorrow at 10:15 a.m. (ET) in the 3rd floor lobby, we will hold a special meeting of ALL Virgin employees to celebrate our wonderful chart debuts. At the meeting, each department head will present a quotation that they will have selected from someone in their department about this momentous event. Everyone should prepare a quote for either DFB or KT and submit it to your department head by the end of the day today.
Examples: "I got 99 problems but KT ain't one" or "Ask not what DFB can do for your country, ask what your country can do for DFB."
Immediately afterwards, all these quotations will be submitted anonymously (to ensure fairness) to Eric Nicoli, Alain Levy and David Munns, whom I will ask to judge the best quote for each artist. Each member of the department that wins will receive a $100 Amex gift certificate. In addition, I have asked HITS magazine to publish a picture of the winning department alongside their quotation.
