While 50 Cent, Mariah take #1 Video and
Song Searches for the Year
Top Music Searches in 2005

AOL Search has just unveiled its list of the top searches for 2005, revealing some interesting trends in music. The ability to easily search videos online came on strong this year, especially for music fans. For video search across all topics on AOL Video Search, 50 Cent came in at #1, followed by Madonna (#4) and Live 8 (#24). As for song searches, multiple Grammy nominee Mariah Carey's “We Belong Together" took the top spot, followed by Gwen Stefani, who took #2.
