Sales-Based, Fan-Chosen American Music Awards Return to ABC on Nov. 22
The nominees have been announced by the American Medical Association... Scratch that. The nominees have been announced for the American Music Awards, which will once again take place in the fall so as not to compete with February’s Grammys. The 33rd edition of the AMAs will air Nov. 22 on ABC, with Cedric the Entertainer hosting.

Comeback diva Mariah Carey leads all nominees with four, followed by Green Day, 50 Cent and Kelly Clarkson with three apiece. Two-timers are the Black Eyed Peas, Destiny's Child, Eminem, Fantasia, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw and Gretchen Wilson.
