EDELSTEIN GETS CREATIVE
AT COLUMBIA
Industry Exec to Focus on Artist Imaging Throughout Overall Marketing Campaigns

Marcia "Not a Member of Brady Bunch" Edelstein is appointed Senior Vice President Creative Marketing for Columbia Records by Sr. VP Marketing & Media "Moe" Larry "and Curly" Jenkins.

Edelstein will continue to provide creative direction for the label, shepherding releases through packaging, advertising and merchandising, ensuring consistent artist imaging throughout overall marketing campaigns and making sure Larry’s socks are the same color.

Edelstein originally joined Columbia Records in 1997 as VP Creative Marketing. She began her career in 1983 as assistant to the VP of Creative Services at Elektra Entertainment, rising to VP Creative Services. She went to Capitol Records in 1990 as VP Creative Services, returning to Elektra as Sr. Director of Marketing from 1994-96.

Said Jenkins: "Marcia is an invaluable asset to the Columbia Records marketing team, responsive to artists’ needs and an expert on the intricacies of imaging and marketing strategy. Isn’t that right, Donnie?"

Added Edelstein: "I’d like to thank Don Ienner, Will Botwin, John Ingrassia and Larry Jenkins for giving me the opportunity to work with the most exciting and creative marketing department in the industry. It’s a thrill to work with so many outstanding artists as part of the Columbia Records family. But I draw the line at dressing up as the NBC peacock for marketing meetings."
