GOD BLESS AMERICAN MUSIC AWARD NOMINEES

Moved to November, You Only Have Two Months to Pick Your Outfit
The 31st annual American Music Awards, airing live on ABC-TV Nov. 16, now have some names on the ballots. This year’s host, Jimmy Kimmel, eternal teenager Dick Clark, and Macy Gray revealed the nominees at the luxurious Beverly Hills Hotel this morning.

The winners of the American Music Awards are chosen by a random sampling of approximately 20,000 people, who are chosen at random, by a subpoena of their internet service providers. Those lucky people are sent ballots, and Ernst & Young’s interns tabulate the results.

The acts competing for the Fan’s Choice Award will be announced shortly.
