BBII edged out UTV’s Now 13 last week, and is expected to do so again this week, as Now and other last-week debuts, including Interscope’s Mya, Capitol’s Jane’s Addiction, Volcano/Jive’s 311 and Arista Nashville’s Brad Paisley see the usual second-week settling we’ve all come to know and hate.
The only new release with a shot at breaking 50k in sales for the week appears to be Elektra’s LSG, whose LSG2 has a shot at cracking the Top 10.
But keep an eye on DTP/Capitol’s Chingy, whose big radio story could result in continued sales momentum.
Other than that, be on the lookout for Arista Nashville’s Alan Jackson greatest hits package, which hits stores Aug. 12. Yeee-hawww, or whatever.
