"We’ve had unprecedented success over the past year with a record-breaking number of hits. That said, MTV is and always has been about reinventing itself, so we feel this is the right time to shake things up and stretch ourselves even further creatively."

MTV HAS FIVE NEW SERIES ON TAP

New Spring/Summer Programming Includes Snoop Dogg Variety Show, Ashton Kutcher Practical Joke Series, Magic Johnson-produced Basketball Program
MTV’s upcoming programming slate could well be summed up by the phrases, "Don’t touch that dizzial" and "Dude, where’s my show?"

Snoop Dogg and Ashton Kutcher will be among the stars with new series on the channel debuting this spring and summer.

MTV/VH1 President Entertainment Brian Graden is hoping to continue the network’s streak of more than 11 consecutive years as the #1 cable channel for its core 12-24-year-old audience. "We’ve had unprecedented success over the past year with a record-breaking number of hits. That said, MTV is and always has been about reinventing itself, so we feel this is the right time to shake things up, stretch ourselves even further creatively and find room on the schedule for Jackass: The Musical."
