Chart debuts include The White Stripes’ Elephant>/I> (V2), which appears headed for a Top 10 berth based on sales of a little over 100k, and Cher’s The Very Best of Cher (WSM), which should likewise land in the upper 10 with projected sales approaching 100k.

WEEK IN PREVIEW:
LINKIN PARKED AT # 1

WB Band Expected to Sell Another 300k; White Stripes, Cher to Bow in Top 10
As the great OutKast once said in one of their more prophetic selections, "Don’t pull the thang out unless you plan to bang." Well, as coalition troops continue to bang away in Baghdad, it’s only semi-unseemly to talk about some of the little things that make the home front tick, namely, record sales.

Alt-metal masters Linkin Park did some (head) banging of their own on last week’s chart, and it appears Meteora (Warner Bros.) will hold on to the #1 slot again this week, based on projected sales in excess of 300k. Last week’s #2, Celine Dion’s One Heart (Epic), should log upward of 200k units sold for the week, making her the likely #2 this time as well.

Chart debuts include The White StripesElephant (V2), which appears headed for a Top 10 berth based on sales of a little over 100k, and Cher’s The Very Best of Cher (WSM), which should likewise land in the upper 10 with projected sales approaching 100k.

At Top 40 radio, meanwhile, look out for Jewel’s "Intuition" (Atlantic), Jennifer Lopez’s "I’m Glad" (Epic) and Jason Mraz’s "The Remedy" (Elektra) to rack up the most adds for the week.

As for Crossover, the likely Most-Added track is Da Brat’s "In Love Wit Chu" (So So Def/Arista), followed by David Banner’s "Like a Pimp" (SRC/Universal), Bravehearts’ "Situations" (Ill Will/Columbia) and LSG’s "Friends" (Elektra).

And at Post Modern, watch as CKY’s "Attached to the Hip" (Island), Coldplay’s "The Scientist" (Capitol), Queens of the Stone Age’s "Go With the Flow" (Interscope) and Staind’s "Price to Play" (Flip/Elektra) all vie for adds. Staind will nab Most-Added honors.
