As for debuts on the upcoming chart, look for Fabolous’ Street Dreams (Elektra) to approach 200k, with Atlantic’s Lil’ Kim not far behind. Evanescence, meanwhile, should see their Wind-up debut, Fallen, go as high as 150k.

WEEK IN PREVIEW: 50 CENT COMPOUNDS INTEREST

Rapper Hangs Tough, Looks Like #1 Again
You can’t call him bullet proof, but tough-as-nails rapper 50 Cent is looking everything but on the Album Chart, amassing nearly 3 million albums sold in only five weeks. And that toughness continues this week, as gaggles of fans continue to scoop up his Get Rich or Die Tryin’ (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope). With the counting ongoing, the tally so far points to the album scoring in the neighborhood of 350k this week.

Meanwhile, little Norah Jones, whose post-Grammy rocket ride took her to an astounding 661k on last week’s chart, should log approximately 300k this week. Yes, that’s a drop of over 50% week-over-week, but that’s after a gain of 392%. And remember, before the Grammys, Jones had worked up to an already impressive 135k or so. The net gain is still astounding.

As for debuts on the upcoming chart, look for Fabolous’ Street Dreams (Elektra) to approach 200k, with Atlantic’s Lil’ Kim not far behind. Evanescence, meanwhile, should see their Wind-up debut, Fallen, go as high as 150k.

At radio, look for Christina Aguilera’s "Fighter" (RCA) to score Most Added with ease, followed by cleanup on Good Charlotte’s "The Anthem" (Epic) and Justin Timberlake’s "Rock Your Body" (Jive). Also look for action on Nelly’s "Pimp Juice" (Fo’ Reel/Universal).

Crossover adds will likely be led by Dru Hill’s "I Love You" (Def Soul/IDJ) in its first official week, followed by the aforementioned Nelly and "Pimp Juice." Also look for cleanup on Eminem’s "Sing for the Moment" (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) and early action on Da Brat’s "In Love Witchu" (Arista).
