SERVING IT UP

It’s Not Quite Breakin’ 3, But You Got Served Does Have Dance-Offs
You Got Served, starring recently split-up B2K, danced away with $16 million, debuting at the top of the box office. The movie stars the group as a part of a street-dance crew and Steve Harvey as their mentor. Reviews were harsh, as critics aren’t inclined to love dance-offs in movies not titled West Side Story.

Also opening this weekend was The Perfect Score, an MTV production starring Scarlett Johansson and Erika Christensen as high schoolers who steal the SAT exam. It earned fifth place with $5 million.

Here’s the rest of the Top 10: #2 Along Came Polly ($10.1m); #3 The Butterfly Effect ($9.95m); #4 The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ($5.3m); #6 Big Fish ($4.6m); #7 Cold Mountain ($4.53m); #8 Win a Date With Tad Hamilton! ($4.5m); #9 Mystic River ($4.4m); #10 Cheaper by the Dozen ($4.1m).
