DUMB GRAMMY CONTEST:
IT’S FUN, WE GUESS

HITS and DreamWorks Team Up To Give You Something Nifty For Picking the Winners
It’s awards show season, and you’ve got just one question on your mind: What drugs can I take to get through awards show season?

Well, HITS and DreamWorks are here to tell you that you don’t need dope. And you don’t need hope, either. You just need a nifty prize. And now you can win something while doing what you normally do anyhow—predict who’s gonna win Grammys.

That’s right, it’s the 2002 Dumb Grammy Contest. Here’s how it works.

Just be the top picker in one of three groups (radio, retail and general weasels, also known as "potpourri") and you’ll win something really nifty. And the categories are:

  • Album of the Year
  • Song of the Year
  • Record of the Year
  • Best New Artist
  • Producer of the Year
  • Best Rock Album
  • Best R&B Album
  • Best Rap Album
  • Best Polka Album

In the event of a tie, the winner will be the one closest to accurately predicting the following:
The length of Mike Greene’s speech will be ___ minutes and ___ seconds.

We think DreamWorks’ Vicki Leben will be picking Nelly Furtado for Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. But we’re as stumped as you about where she’ll go in the diabolical polka category.

To enter, click here, e-mail [email protected] or, if you prefer to communicate by scrawling things in crayon, fax your picks to us at (818) 501-6164. One entry per person, please.
