Daniel Savage "Garden" has been promoted to Senior VP of Sales, Marketing and Synergy at Hollywood Records by "Westminster" Abbey Konowitch, Senior VP/General Manager of the label.
In his expanded role, Savage will be responsible for all synergistic opportunities between Hollywood Records and other Disney business units, such as ABC, ESPN, Radio Disney, Disney Channel, The Walt Disney Studios, Disney Consumer Products and Disney Theme Parks and Resorts. Savage will also continue to oversee all areas of sales and marketing, including publicity, artist development and creative services, for Hollywood.
"In this age of multifaceted marketing campaigns, Daniel’s expertise and experience in strategizing film, TV and corporate synergies make him an integral part of Hollywood's success. This is a well-deserved promotion," said Konowitch. "Daniel’s efforts will ensure Hollywood Records’ unique and competitive marketing position."
Previous to joining Hollywood in 1999, Savage served as Senior VP of Marketing for Island, where he was responsible for the marketing efforts on behalf of such artists as Elton John, U2, the Cranberries, Melissa Etheridge, and PJ Harvey, among others.

From 1995-1998, Savage was VP of Product Development for Atlantic. From 1987 to 1995, Savage was at PolyGram as Director of Marketing for Mercury at the time o his departure.
