A SIMPLE CHOICE

Cabler Music Choice Makes Content Delivery Pact With Simple Devices
Cable music provider Music Choice has pacted with Simple Devices, which delivers media to—you guessed it—devices.

As a result, Music Choice’s genre-based channels will be "integrated" into SD’s "SimpleMedia Services content delivery application," according to the kind of release that works better than Viagra for perking us up. It’s all part of the ongoing effort to move the delivery of digital entertainment off the desktop.

"We're excited to partner with Simple Devices to distribute our music channels through the Simple Devices platform to new wireless devices for the home and the car," chortled Dave Del Beccaro, President and CEO of Music Choice. "We hope the proven popularity of our music channels will be a truly valuable addition to SimpleDevices' platform."

Added SD Prexy/CEO Lou Hughes, "Music Choice is a top-tier music service with quality channels that are popular with users around the world. And with a 75% share of the cable music market, they're a natural partner for us as we work with network operators to deliver content beyond the television and PC. And when they add their channel of droning press releases like this one, they’re gonna blow the roof off the sucker."
