Michelle S. Now where have we heard that name before?

Oh, yeah, she used to work here. And now she's been named Vice President Crossover for J Records by Executive VP Promotion Richard Palmese "Come Easy Go."

Seems a long way to go for an invite to Clive's Grammy party, but hey, at least they pay for her Billboard subscription.

Santosuosso comments: "Because so much of my career has been based on breaking new music, it is nothing short of an honor to come out of retirement to work with Clive Davis and be part of such a cool team. And it is a privilege to work beside the incredible experience and expertise of Richard Palmese, who has always been a massively respected force at radio. After working for a bunch of incompetent trade-rag losers the last two years, this is a true breath of fresh air. I will miss those Friday afternoon putting sessions on the Redneck Deck, but certainly not the acrid smell of Brute from Todd Hensley's office."

Santosuosso was previously Crossover Editor for the industry bible, Billboard Bulletin. Prior to that, she spent four years as PD for KMEL S.F. and two years as PD KKBT L.A. She was also National Director Crossover Music/A&R at RCA Records and MD at both KZZP Phoenix and Q106 San Diego.
