Veteran BMG/ElectricArtists Exec a Ken-Do Guy
Twenty-year record industry veteran Ken Krasner has been tapped as Managing Director of Media & Entertainment for Marketing Services Group, a leading "relationship" marketing company, by Chairman/CEO Jeremy Barbera. He will also be a member of the executive management team.

Krasner has been a leader in the marketing and promotion of music, entertainment and lifestyle products as a new media executive at RCA Records and a co-founder of ElectricArtists, a media marketing agency. He has been in the forefront of intergrating new technologies and grass roots community-based marketing strategies.

Said Barbera: "Ken's record of success with new initiatives, leveraging the power of one-to-one marketing within the $40 billion worldwide music industry, will add a vital dimension in our ability to offer a comprehensive suite of marketing channels to our customers. His role will be to leverage our core competencies and combine them with his strengths in relationship marketing to include all facets of lifestyle marketing. He brings a wealth of operating and creative experience, as well as deep-rooted relationships to our team. And he'll be a valuable addition to our spelling bee squad."

Krasner founded RCA Records' new media division in 1994. He also has experience as an artist manager, tour accountant, tour manager, professional musician and tap dancer. In 1997, Krasner founded ElectricArtists, whose clients included AT&T, BMG, AOLTW, Vivendi Universal, Sony Music, EMI, Proctor and Gamble, Imagine Entertainment, Wenner Media and numerous recording artists.
