WEEK IN PREVIEW: IT'S STILL NOW!

Sorry, we lost it for a minute.

This week, it looks like more #1 milk is flowing from the seventh version of the cash-cow "Now" series, as the compilation looks set to spend yet another week at the top.

It’s also a week that sees the biggest music story of the year getting bigger. Yes kids, take a gander at J’s Alicia Keys, who will remain close to the top and firmly in the Top Five this week—and clearly for many weeks to come. Amazingly, this one may just be getting started.

At Top 40, the corporate titans are proving they’re really just normal folks who are in it for the music as they prepare to anoint NSYNC’s "Gone" the Most Added track of the week. Also look for solid action for DreamWorks’ Alien Ant Farm, Arista’s Joy Enriquez, and, of course, Universal’s Afroman, who officially impacts this week despite all the early adds from PDs who were too stoned to remember the right date.

Also look for strong Top 40 closure for IDJ’s Christina Milian, Interscope’s U2 and Virgin’s Gorillaz.

At Post Modern—which traditionally rails against a Conservative Republican U.S. President like the one currently vacationing in Texas—nobody’s railing, but they sure are playing "Lipstick And Bruises" from RCA’s Lit.

Meanwhile, at Jamz, they’re all over RCA’s Tyrese and his "What Am I Gonna Do." They would have told us they were also over Afroman, but they were too stoned.

Too bad you can’t smoke this story.
