Just As Appealing As A Stinky Plate Of Stilton

NOT A HOLE LOTTA LOVE THERE
Nashville Pussy
's bass-thumping hellion Corey Parks has officially left the band. Parks took a leave of absence from the rockers in July, just before the band was to start the Tattoo The Earth tour. Nashville Pussy has welcomed Park's tour replacement, Tracy Almazon, as a full-time member. During Parker's hiatus, Courtney Love courted the hard-drinking, fire-breathing bassist to fill the vacancy in Hole. Said Parks in a statement: "She wanted the two of us to hang out and jam and see if we could work together. I am extremely flattered that she went to great lengths to track me down, but as you all know, I am a rock & roller and I would never be a part of anything that I didn't believe in." Parks added, "Besides, I'm too ladylike to associate with Courtney, " as she spit chewing tobacco onto her Hustler T-shirt.

COCKTAIL NATION RISES AGAIN
Lounge Lizards unite! The swinging, soothing pop sounds have gotten cheesy—literally. Richard Cheese has swankified alternative hits on "Lounge Against The Machine," due 10/17 on Oglio Records. Cheese is joined by Bobby Ricotta (charts and ivories), Gordon Brie (strings and strums) and Buddy Gouda (sticks and skins) to add some swing to Radiohead's "Creep," Sublime's "Wrong Way" and Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up." On a related note, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme have announced they plan to team up with lounge goddess Keely Smith to cover Too Short's "Two Bitches."
