Those numbers were up from net income of $60.6 million (or $1.12 per share) on sales of $517.9 million for the same period the previous year.

For fiscal 2000, the company's net income was $40.1 million (or 83 cents a share) on sales of $1.4 billion, compared to newt income of $61.4 million (or $1.15 a share) on sales of $1.4 billion in fiscal 1999.

Gross profit as a percentage of sales decreased to 35.2% in fiscal 2000 from 36.8% in fiscal 1999.

The company's lucky lotto numbers for the year were: 17, 32, 44, 61, 63 and 70 with a Powerball of 8.

"As expected, our fourth quarter results were impacted by a difficult retail environment and lower than expected results form new releases," said Robert J. And I'm really excited that Spring Training has started."
