MATHERS MARRIAGE MATTERS
Ah, miracles really do happen at Christmas time. Eminem is reconciling with his estranged wife, Kim. According to Interscope Records, the couple filed court papers to dismiss its divorce motion on Wednesday (12/13). Em and Kim are reportedly back in their Michigan home with their daughter, Hailie. Meanwhile, the rapper is due in court Monday (12/18) on gun charges stemming from an incident outside a stereo store in June. Em allegedly became upset when a salesman demonstrated a stereo unit by playing an Everlast CD. Said the salesman: "All those white rappers sound alike, except that Murray Head. Now he's got talent and staying power."

NO MORE MELODIES MADE
Britian's Melody Maker magazine is stopping its presses. The world's oldest pop-rock publication is ending its 74-year run next week, when it merges with rival New Musical Express. Founded in 1926, Melody Maker included song sheets and musician's advice, such as "how the facial angle affects clarinet playing" and "how to get sacrificial goat blood stains out of Lycra/Spandex pants."

BRIDLE FAIR
More details have emerged about Madonna's upcoming wedding to director Guy Ritchie. According to the BBC, the Material Bride is planning to wear a Stella McCartney-designed wedding dress and a tiara created for Hollywood legend Grace Kelly. Artisans are adjusting the late Princess of Monaco's headpiece to fit over Madonna's pimpadelic white cowboy hat.

WEAR ALL BLACK AND SWILL CHEAP WINE FROM YOUR OWN HOME
Renaissance man David Bowie has reinvented his pioneering online art site, Bowieart.com, to focus on burgeoning talent. The site is displaying the works of 400 fledgling artists, including graduating students of the Royal College of Art and the artists' initiative Assembly. Bowieart.com will soon display works from the New York Academy of Arts. The site takes no commission for works sold online. Bowie's next venture, Bowiehair.com, will show how the average joe can achieve the coifs of Ziggy Stardust, the Thin White Duke and Aladdin Sane, as well as Bowie's sexy, tousled new look by using a Flowbee.
