AKAMAI RECIPROCATES RECIPROCAL’S FEELINGS

Is It True Love, Or Just A "Digital Commerce Solution"?
One thing's for sure: Broadband media delivery specialists Akamai Technologies is swooning over its dreamy new Digital Parcel Service (DPS), which bundles digital distribution and digital rights management (DRM) so content providers can vend their multimedia wares in a comprehensive, secure format. Fess up... You're getting hot just thinking about it.

And Akamai knows it wouldn't be possible without its very special new friend, DRM experts Reciprocal. In other words, DPS + DRM = L-U-V.

Akamai and Reciprocal claim DPS will not only allow the controlled distribution of content and ensure compensationfor rights holders, but will also fit nicely with such varied means of delivery as content-syndication and pay-per-view. And don't you worry your pretty little head about big bad pirates, either.

"The Internet will continue to evolve into a marketplace for digital goods, and Akamai is offering the services to enable content-providers to embrace its full potential," proclaimed Akamai Chairman/CEO George Conrades. "I don't look fat in these pants, do I? Oh my God, I know you're lying. I'm a total cow. What do you think Reciprocal is doing right now?"

"We're thrilled to have Akamai as our first reseller," gushed Reciprocal President/CEO John Schwarz, "and look forward to working with them closely to help drive this industry forward and make secure content distribution a reality for everyone. And I mean very closely, heh-heh."

"Oh my God, Reciprocal is so cool," said Conrades. "And you're not."
