"The only people who could possibly be more pleased than I to promote Bob are those at the labels he deals with and his family. I had to promote him before one of the associated labels tried to hire him."

BMG WANTS MORE MORELLI

Bob’s Now Pete’s #2 At Distribution Co.
He'll be singing "Me and Mr. Jones" now.

Bob "For A Few Dollars" Morelli has been named Senior Vice President Associated Labels for BMG Distribution by BMG Distribution & Associated Labels President/CEO Pete Jones.

In this new role, Morelli will work closely with the associated labels in order to maximize sales and marketing opportunities. He will also manage their relationships with BMG Distribution and turn CDs into decorative drink coasters.

Said Jones: "The only people who could possibly be more pleased than I to promote Bob are those at the labels he deals with and his family. I had to promote him before one of the associated labels tried to hire him. They hold him in the highest regard, as he is a total pro with both sales and marketing skills. And he can whip up a tasty wienerschnitzel at a moment's notice."

Morelli most recently served as Vice President Sales and Marketing, Distributed Labels, for BMG Distribution. Before that, he was Vice President Field Operations, as well as overseeing BMG's independent distribution arm, Wasabi, which is awfully good with some toro. Morelli joined BMG Distribution in 1985 as a Sales Representative. Two years later, he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager and, in 1989, was named National Singles Director. Before joining BMG, Morelli spent seven years at PolyGram, where he served as Richie Sambora's guitar tech. Morelli is a graduate of SUNY at Old Westbury with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in dressing up like Hannibal Lecter for Halloween.
