Napster For The Mac Lets All 1,423 Apple Users Become File-Sharing Rebels
Even as Napster is spreading faster than Paula Jones, (hitsdailydouble, 10/25), the litigated swapper is taking on the task of devouring the big Mac.

Napster introduced the new software, cleverly called Napster for the Mac, allowing Macintosh users to connect to Napster and partake of its music swapping community. Mac mamas and daddies can download the new application and do all of those things that the RIAA doesn't want them to.

"Napster for the Mac provides the total Napster experience wrapped in a Mac-friendly user interface," said Napster founder Shawn Fanning, when he woke up this afternoon.

Napster for the Mac is the "official" Mac version of the Napster software. It was developed by the creators of Macster, an independent product purchased by Napster earlier this year. Existing Macster users can register for the new application with their current Macster username and password. But you don't use Napster, right?
