WILL IT GO ROUND IN CIRCLES?

Or Is There Really No Logic To Today’s

Axl Rose's stalker is scheduled to appear in Malibu Superior Court to face misdemeanor charges of further terrorizing the Guns N' Roses leader. Karen Jane McNeil will enter a plea on charges of contempt of court and violating a court order. Prosecutors say McNeil, who broke into Rose's Malibu compound several times and claims to be his wife, has barraged the singer with letters written from jail. McNeil claims she just wanted to use up her 33-cent stamps before the postal rate increase in January.

WHAT WOULD CREED DO?
Holy rock & rollers Creed will continue on as a three-piece. Back in August, the band parted ways with bassist Brian Marshall for "personal and professional reasons," including a tirade on Seattle radio station KNDD, where Marshall lambasted Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder. Drummer Scott Phillips told Launch: "Right now, I think we're kinda content with the way things are. We've been working with Bret Hestla, who's touring with us right now, who's a great guy, but as it stands, I think going into the new album, for the future, we're just gonna see what the three of us can come up with." Meanwhile, Marshall has sold his side of the story to Spin for 40 pieces of silver.

ASK GINGER SPICE FOR ADVICE
The soundtrack for indie film "Olive Juice," set to bow in February, will feature a solo track from Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell, who makes a cameo appearance in the film along with bandmate A.J. McLean. Littrell sings the "Olive Juice" title song, which he co-wrote. "We're hoping," said one industry insider, "that this film does for him as a solo artist what the ‘Spy Who Shagged Me' soundtrack did for Scary Spice."

FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON
FBI agents arrested a man Thursday (12/7) for allegedly threatening to kill Moon Unit Zappa, the U.S. attorney's office said. Timothy Mark Brownfield appeared in Santa Ana federal court and was ordered held without bail pending arraignment Monday (12/11) on a count of mailing a threatening communication. Experts agree, Brownfield would have pretty much be in the clear if only he had gone after Dweezil.

DON'T STAND SO CLOSE TO MY STAR
Singer, actor and tantric humper Sting is the latest celebrity to be honored on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. The artist will receive his star Friday (12/8). The former leader of The Police, Sting has won 14 Grammys, and has appeared in films including "Brimstone & Treacle," "Dune" and "Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels." "We put his star in a low-traffic area," explained one Walk Of Fame spokesman, "since we feared visitors to Sting's star might want to stare at it for up to seven hours at a time."

LIL' HELP HERE?
Lil' Kim is a lil' broke. The World Entertainment News Network says the rapper is on the verge of bankruptcy. Lil' Kim has placed her New Jersey home up for sale and is doing promotional gigs to battle her growing debt. Kim reportedly spends exorbitant amounts of money on hair and makeup, using the top stylists. Sources close to Kim say that the amount of money spent on her hair and makeup could "float a third world country." We at HITS feel slightly responsible as we know that Lil' Kim spent thousands of dollars on anti-bacterial soap after a recent visit to the HITS office.

SNOOP POOP
Launch reports that Columbia Pictures has sued Snoop Dogg for allegedly infringing on their "Charlie's Angels" logo design, which was adapted for the cover art of the Doggy's Angels single, "Baby If You're Ready." Doggy's Angels released its debut album, "Pleezbaleevit," Nov. 21. "Who would confuse Doggy's Angels members Coniyac, Kola and Big Chan with ‘Charlie's Angels' stars Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Lui?" said an observer. "Charlie's girls are hideous."
