DEN ON THE HOOK-UP
Digital Entertainment Network pacts with Road Runner, Scour and Hollywood.com
Apparently, Digital Entertainment Network took some time off from representing MP3.com's interests to look after their own.

The Internet company G.A.S. principals Gary Gersh and John Silva called home are busy making alliances for the privately held interactive network, closing deals with high-speed cable online service Road Runner, multimedia search destination Scour and movie/entertainment site Hollywood.com.

"These deals demonstrate our continued dedication to forging relationships that make sense with our core business, which is delivering original Internet entertainment to Generation Y in a dynamic environment," said DEN.net CEO Greg Carpenter. "Of course, none of it can compare to Gersh and Silva's old war stories, but we try."

DEN.net will be featured as a prominent link on Roadrunner (ww.rr.com), a cable broadband online service with more than 550,000 subscribers which is a joint venture of Time Warner, Inc., MediaOneGroup, Microsoft, Compaq and Advance/Newhouse.

DEN.net will also partner with Scour (www.scour.com), a high-powered multimedia search engine which will stream audio and video of its original programming. The company is backed by Michael Ovitz and The Yucaipa Companies.

DEN.net's relationship with Hollywood.com (www.hollywood.com) will provide them with a premier movie site and source of entertainment information, including local movie listings and theater locations.

DEN, which creates original youth culture programming and e-commerce opportunities, is the leading site for downloadable tattoos on the Net. They recently postponed their IPO to reorganize.
