CLICKRADIO PICKS STAFF TO CLICK

Net Music Company Adds Programming Staff
They’re savvy, they’re gifted, and they heard from a clerk at Best Buy that this Internet thing is gonna take off.

They’re the new programming team at Clickradio.

ClickRadio, Inc. has developed a "smart radio" to allow listeners to enjoy digital music through easy-to-use technology both online and offline, and its new programming staff is full of music vets.

VP of Entertainment Programming Charlie Kendall will direct the ClickRadio programming team. Kendall was previously PD of New York’s WNEW and Philadelphia’s WMMR.

Scott Shannon will develop music and programming content for pop formats including Contemporary Hits, Adult Hits, Teen Hits and Dance Hits. With a 22-year history in radio, Shannon is credited with creating the "Morning Zoo" format. Thanks for that, babe.

Patti Galluzzi will be ClickRadio’s overall advisor for music and content. She most recently served as Senior VP of Music and Talent at MTV.

Max Tolkoff will develop music and programming content for Alternative formats including Mainstream, Eclectic, Electronic and Classic Alternative. He currently hosts "Modern Rock Live."

Other hirings include Dan Neer, who will direct Rock and Mainstream Rock formats, Tony Gray, who will develop R&B formats, and Jim Wood, who will develop Country formats.

Herbie Hancock, Chuck Mitchell and John Mrvos will develop music and content for the jazz formats.

Sal D’Aleo will head the company’s Entertainment Programming Operations.

At least two of the company’s new staffers can print their own e-mail.
