Custom Revolutions, a self-described "provider of personalized Internet entertainment," has received a $10 million equity investment from Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Inc (Hicks Muse) that will be used as capital for general corporate services and the development of the company's Web site, www.customdisc.com. The relationship follows Custom's content-licensing agreement with Sony Music Entertainment earlier this year. The company's business-to-business distribution network includes Tower Records, Wherehouse, CDNow and Liquid Audio… Independent music and film portal Insound has partnered with both RioPort and Listen.com. Insound will supply RioPort with MP3 files and editorial content and provide Listen.com with listings for their artist catalog.
