REMEMBER: LEATHER IS DIFFICULT TO CLEAN
Virginal pop songstress Britney Spears will once again give away an item of her clothing to a lucky fan. Back in May, Britney gave away the stars-and-stripes bustier she wore on the cover of Rolling Stone (hitsdailydouble, 5/3), and, baby, she wants to do it one more time. The September issue of "YM," which hits the newsstands this week, will give readers a chance to win the sequined, leather camisole off cover girl Spears' back. Boy, for a self-proclaimed virgin, she's sure leaving a trail of clothes across the country. Spears will give the away the two-piece white leather get-up to a fan who donates an item of clothing to charity and sends the receipt and a 100-word description of something he or she has done for charity. "We'd like to emphasize," said one "YM" editor, "that sending your clothing to Britney in care of this magazine does not qualify as ‘charity.'"
