Surviving Beatles To Share Book Bucks
With Yoko
Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr have co-authored an authoritative Beatles biography that is due to hit stores in the Fall, according to a statement from a McCartney rep.

The surviving members of the Fab Four say the 360-page "Beatles Anthology," to which they have devoted some six years, should set the record straight after decades of tell-all tomes from not-always-reliable sources. It will also feature some 1,200 photographs, many of which have never been published.

"It goes across the board--everything is in there," proclaimed McCartney spokesman Geoff Baker. "It is about the Beatles as a band, the music, but it deals with everything else: The tours, the drugs, the disputes. This book answers all the questions. And if you read it backwards, it says all the songs were written by Ray Davies."

The volume should fetch some $80 per copy. Proceeds will be divided between Paul, George, Ringo and Yoko Ono, widow of John Lennon.

Reports of a pending sitcom titled "I Love Yoko" could not be confirmed.
