40 Employees Given Opportunity To Update Resumes, Work On Interview Skills, Catch Up On Daytime TV
Encinitas, CA-based online music company SpinRecords.com has laid off 40 employees, nearly half its staff, according to a report from the San Diego Union-Tribune.

SpinRecords CEO Wayne Irving told the Union-Tribune that as part of its restructuring, the company "hired for new departments, so some of the people that were laid off were hired for new departments."

Now that's really putting the "spin" in SpinRecords.
