To help raise awareness for the hotly anticipated DVD release of "This Is Spinal Tap," original Tappers Nigel Tufnel, David St. Hubbins and Derek Smalls are making the publicity rounds with new—and hopefully fire-proof—drummer Mick Fleetwood. The four will appear on a special hour-long, live edition of "The List" airing tonight (6/22) on VH1 at 10 p.m. PT. Viewers are instructed to turn their TVs up to 11… One of Canada's biggest touring acts is coming to the U.S. It's not Celine Dion, Bryan Adams or even Glass Tiger. It's a musical tribute to the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, Britney Spears and Shania Twain. Apparently, these acts are quite convincing. "It's so incredible," said Jan Jacques, one of the concert organizers, "that it gives me goosebumps." The North American tour begins at Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom Adventure Park in Redlands, CA, on Friday (6/23). "These look-a-like acts imported from Toronto, Canada, promise to deliver the ‘real thing,'" Jacques said. "Much in the same way that Canada simulates a ‘real' American experience."… Brit rocker Liam Gallagher of the beleaguered band Oasis has put his luxury London home up for sale. The move, according to the top-selling Sun tabloid, is a sure sign that his marriage to actress Patsy Kensit is on the rocks. According to the Sun, Kensit was admitted to a clinic last month after bouts of depression and anxiety. Kensit has been married to two other rock stars—Big Audio Dynamite's Dan Donovan and Simple Minds' Jim Kerr—and her depression may stem from Britain's tough three-strikes-you're-out laws, which dictate that if the marriage to Gallagher doesn't work out, Kensit will be forced to date only non-famous men… Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson has married his longtime girlfriend, dancer Kristin Willits, after eight years. Richardson is most often described as "the one with the beard," which has confused many BSB detractors who have been under the impression that all the Boys had "beards"… Multimedia management company Maxx International Inc. and Columbia Records, a division of Sony Music, have agreed in principle to the proposed terms for the distribution of the spoken-word version of His Holiness, Pope John Paul II's Personal Prayer books. The agreement includes a seven-figure advance. Scheduled to appear on the CD are NSYNC, Britney Spears, James Earl Jones, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Faith Hill, Steven Tyler, Dennis Franz and 98 Degrees, among others. His Holiness will also make an appearance on the disc on a Puff Daddy remix of the MC Hammer hit "Can't Touch This (Hat)."… Famous Fixins Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with boy band NSYNC to launch a new product line of five different lip balms. The balms will sell both individually and as a five-pack with each member/flavor: Lance Bass (blue raspberry), JC Chasez (watermelon), Chris Kirkpatrick (strawberry), Joey Fatone (green apple) and Justin Timberlake (vanilla). Said one excited fan, "Who knew the pain and embarrassment of fever blisters and cold sores could be overcome by simply spreading Justin's creamy vanilla goodness on my lips?"… Honoring over 100 L.A.-area bands in 20 different categories, the L.A. Weekly Music Awards, presented by Spinrecords.com, will be held June 29 at the Henry Fonda Theatre as the finale of L.A. Music 2000.
