DA BRAT TO FACE DA JUDGE

Trying Too Hard To Live Up To Her Name,
Rapper Must Stand Trial
An Atlanta judge has ruled that Da Brat (Shawntae Harris) must stand trial on aggravated battery charges after last month's altercation with another woman in the city's Chili Peppers nightclub.

The incident, where the rapper allegedly pistol-whipped clubgoer Rezue Robateue at the entrance to the VIP area, sparked what appeared to be a revenge attack on friends of Da Brat a week later.

Four people were shot at while driving into the apartment block where the rapper lives, but it later transpired that the drive-by shooting, though coincidental, had nothing to do with the events at the Chili Peppers.

Authorities have also cleared Anthony Kiedis of any wrongdoing, declaring his connection with the case "merely coincidental."
