The Add Action at Top 40, Rhythm and Alternative

Hey, buddy! You in Austin? Sounds like a party. Yeah, great. Enjoy. Me? Just, you know, here in the office. Yeah. Fun. Anyway, here's your damn recap of the add action at Top 40, Rhythm and Alternative.

TOP 40
Top 40 Radio demanded it and RCA delivered the #1 Most Added song of the week with Justin Timberlake’s “Not a Bad Thing.” Columbia makes it six weeks in a row in the Most Added column for John Legend’s “All of Me” and picks up a second slot with MKTO’s “Classic.” Republic makes it two weeks on the list for The Chainsmokers’ "#Selfie," and Team Interscope grabs two slots with Rixton’s “Me and My Broken Heart” and Eminem’s “Headlights.” Epic hits the Most Added column again with Black Magnetic band New Hollow’s “She Ain’t You” in its second week out.

RHYTHM
RCA's Kid Ink follows up his #1 hit with Most Added honors for "Main Chick" f/Chris Brown. IDJ has quite the week with Iggy Azalea’s "Fancy," which is off to a great start. Republic had a solid one-two punch with Young Money f/Drake’s "Trophies," and Adrian Marcel’s "2am." Also, double-digit commitments for Epic's Future with "Move That Doh" f/Pharrell. Finally, Beyoncé’s "Partition" (Columbia) is getting the last of the holdouts, also getting double-digit adds this week.

ALTERNATIVE
This week it's all about Coldplay's new single "Magic" (Parlophone) the #1 Most Added song at Modern Rock. Warner Bros. has a strong first week with "Guilty All the Same" from Linkin Park. RCA continues to impress with Bleachers’ "I Wanna Get Better." Other winners included Arctic Monkeys’ latest "Why'd You Only Call Me When..."
