WOMEN OF INFLUENCE
The honorees at the T.J. Martell Foundation’s Women of Influence Awards, slated for 5/1 in the Grand Salon of NYC’s Essex House, have been announced.
The event honors "outstanding women who have achieved tremendous goals in business and inspire other women around the globe to live their dreams while balancing work, home and health." The honorees are Z100 PD Sharon Dastur, Radio One Inc. Founder/Chairperson Cathy Hughes, Today Co-Host and Dateline NBC correspondent Hoda Kotb and fashion designer Randi Rahm.
"For several years, Z100 has worked closely with The T.J. Martell Foundation and partnered with them on their annual Family Day event," says Dastur, "and after attending many of their annual Wine Dinners, I really got to hear firsthand the stores of the incredible work that they do raising money to fund innovative medical research focused on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS. When I was approached to be part of this year’s Women of Influence Awards, I was so honored to be recognized amongst many other incredible women in the music, television, and fashion industries."
