RADIO ADD RECAP

Buddy! Crazy day, right? Well, let’s take a look at the add action at three key radio formats, and then you can pay for a mess of drinks.

It was a big week for Team WB, which captured #1 Most Added honors with Nico & Vinz’ "Am I Wrong" out of the box and pick up a second slot, before official impact, with AJR’s "I’m Ready." RCA has two on the list as well, Pitbull f/GRL’s "Wild Wild Love" for a third straight week and Shakira’s "Empire," ahead of official impact. Capitol makes it two weeks in a row in the Most Added column with 5 Seconds Of Summer’s "She Looks So Perfect," as do RMR with Katy Tiz’s "The Big Bang’ and Columbia with Calvin Harris’ "Summer." Chalk up a third straight appearance on the list for Island with Iggy Azalea’s "Fancy," while Interscope rounds out the week’s action with Lady Gaga’s "G.U.Y." and Rixton’s "Me And My Broken Heart."

RHYTHM
It was a slow and tight race, but Def Jam and Rick Ross’ "Thug Cry" f/ Lil Wayne managed to edge out Justin Timberlake’s "Not A Bad Thing" (RCA). Nipper also saw big action on Tinashe f/ScHoolboy Q’s "2 On." Other solid weeks were had by Republic’s Adrian Marcel with "2AM," "Numb" by Def Jam’s August Alsina and "Fancy" by Island’s Iggy Azalea. Glassnote’s Childish Gambino posted five new commitments, and looks to chart this week.

ALTERNATIVE
The Black Keys dominated the Most Added column once again at Modern Rock this week with "Fever" and is officially closed at the format! Also on the closeout front: RCA’s Bleachers with "I Wanna Get Better" and the latest from Lava/Republic’s Lorde, "Glory And Gore."　Columbia had a real nice week with Cherub’s "Doses & Mimosas." Republic scores again with Birds Of Tokyo’s "Lanterns." Other winners included J.Roddy Walston (ATO), CHVRCHES (Glassnote) and "Best Friend" from Columbia’s Foster the People. A record to watch: "Reverse" by Downtown’s SomeKindaWonderful, which was added today at KROQ and KYSR.
