NEW IN VIBE: "F***IN'" BIG
A$AP Rocky, The Neighbourhood Join Our Buzzing Bandwagon
What do a hip-hopper from Harlem and a SoCal alt-rock band have in common? Well, apart from a likely appreciation of herbal dispensaries, we mean. That's right: They're both making their Vibe-Raters debuts this week.

Assisted by a trio of superstar guests, rapper A$AP Rocky's "F***in' Problems" (Polo Grounds/RCA) joins the parade at #6 this week. The track, featuring Drake, 2Chainz and Kendrick Lamar, is getting mad love at Urban and Xover, including Sirius/XM Hip Hop Nation, Shade 45 andThe Heat, WQHT, WWPR, KPWR, WPWX, WGCI, KMEL, KBFB, KBXX, WPHI and many other outlets. Rocky, whose Long.Live.A$AP album drops 1/15, just completed a sold-out headlining tour and will join Rihanna (whom he joined onstage at September's VMAs) for dates 3/8-5/5. "Problems" has sold over 300,000 digital tracks so far.

BET, MTV2 and MTV Jams have upped the MC's impressions, as has press coverage including a New York Times Magazine cover, GQ, Vogue, ComplexInterview and Rolling Stone.

Joining Vibe in the #16 spot are Columbia's PoMo kids The Neighbourhood, who--despite the British spelling of their name--hail from Cali. Their "Sweater Weather" (from the band's I'm Sorry EP, which streeted in August) is warming things up at SXM Alt Nation,
WKQX, KNDD, KRBZ, WWCD and WROX, among others. It's also getting major love from non-comm tastemaker KCRW. The retro-styled B&W video for "Sweater," meanwhile, has folded up more than a millon YouTube views. After their So Cal residency tour wraps up on 12/23, The Neighbourhood will play a batch of East Coast dates followed by an Aussie swing. Look for their LP in the spring.
