Hey, buddy! Time to take a sneak peek at the forthcoming action on a few key Mediabase radio charts. Seriously, it’s been too long—we’ve gotta book a lunch. Nope, next week’s bad. You know what? Let’s pick this up after Labor Day. Smash!

ALTERNATIVE
Imagine Dragons’ “Demons” (KidinaKorner/Interscope) will hold at #1 for a second week. Starting next week, Lava/Republic’s Lorde will enter the derby for the #1 spot with “Royals”; the song will climb to #4 on Monday with another 150x spin increase in tow. Capitol’s Bastille is having another big week with “Pompeii” as it climbs to #13 with a look at top 10 the following week. RCA’s Kings Of Leon “Supersoaker” quickly gets to the Top 15.

As for the debuts, Thirty Seconds to Mars’ “City Of Angels” (Virgin) will enter the chart, and Republic's the Naked and Famous arrive with “Hearts Like Ours.”

TOP 40
Robin Thicke
's “Blurred Lines” is still an overwhelming #1, while “Cups” by Republic's Anna Kendrick will make its top 10 debut. Capitol's Capital Cities is now closing in on the top 10 with their big hit “Safe And Sound,” which is up another 500x. Columbia's One Direction will have that special 1000x gain with their latest smash, “Best Song Ever.”

RCA keeps their hot summer going with more big spin gains for Justin Timberlake, Miley Cryus and P!nk, plus a major surge for Labrinth f/Emeli Sande “Beneath Your Beautiful.” PRMD/Island/IDJ’s Avicii is chartbound with “Wake Me Up,” and Epic's Fifth Harmony seems poised to break.

RHYTHMIC
There aren’t any monster new releases this week. Jay Z’s “Holy Grail” (Roc-a-Fella/Roc Nation) and J. Cole’s “Crooked Smile” (Roc Nation/Columbia) lead the charge into the top 10, while Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” (Columbia) and Macklemore (Macklemore/ADA/WB) continue to battle for #1.

Justin Timberlake’s “Take Back The Night” and Chris Brown f/Nicki Minaj “Love More” (both RCA) take huge jumps and are among the most increased yet again. Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” will debut this week and Ariana Grande’s “Baby I” is impacting (Republic).
