What to Expect at Three Key Mediabase Formats

Hey, buddy! We're psychic. Yep, we're getting pretty strong visions about what’s coming on three key Mediabase charts. If only we didn't get these headaches.

TOP 40

It’s another week on the top of the chart for RCA's Justin Timberlake with "Not a Bad Thing." Def Jam's Iggy Azalea has the Greatest Gainer again this week with "Fancy," and it looks to be the track that’ll unseat JT next week. Columbia's "Turn Down for What" by DJ Snake & Lil Jon moves Top 5, and labelmate Calvin Harris also has one of this week’s Greatest Gainers with "Summer." Republic sees Ariana Grande f/Iggy Azalea’s "Problem" jump way up the chart and inside the Top 10. Warner Bros.Nico & Vinz have cause to celebrate, as "Am I Wrong" takes a big jump and is poised for Top 10 honors next week. Magic!’s "Rude" (Latium/RCA) moves into the Top 20, Jason Derulo f/Snoop Dogg’s "Wiggle" (Warner Bros.) has a 1000+ spin week and Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake’s “Love Never Felt So Good” (Epic) also has a great spin week. Pharrell Williams’ "Come Get it Bae," via Columbia, and Becky G’s "Shower" (RCA) are both new to the chart this week.

RHYTHM

There’s yet another new #1 record, as Def Jam takes Iggy Azalea’s "Fancy" to the top. Republic's Ariana Grande vaults into the Top 5 with "Problem" f/Iggy Azalea, and YG f/Drake’s "Who Do You Love" (Def Jam) has a great increase inside the Top 10. RCA's "2 On" by Tinashe f/ScHoolboy Q and "Main Chick" by Kid Ink f/Chris Brown will also have large increases, as will Warner Bros.' Jason Derulo with "Wiggle" f/Snoop Dogg. Other records on the rise include Lil Wayne f/Drake’s "Believe Me" (Republic) and Pharrell Williams’ "Come Get It Bae" (Columbia). A number of records will debut this week, the biggest being Nicki Minaj’s "Pills N Potions" on Republic. Warner Bros.’ Nico & Vinz will also debut "Am I Wrong" this week, along with Epic's Teeflii and "24 Hours."

ALTERNATIVE

The Black Keys will remain #1 for a fourth week with "Fever" (Nonesuch/Warner Bros.). WB/Crush willsee Big Data's "Dangerous" arrive in the Top 10. Coldplay's new single "A Sky Full of Stars" (Parlophone) quickly moves inside the Top 25. Look for Republic's Milky Chance to chart soon with "Stolen Dance."
